We loved the peaceful atmosphere and spacious, comfortable room. The hotel facilities were fantastic, including free swimming pool and jacuzzi access, tennis, badminton, and mini golf. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel is located near a pond where beavers can be spotted and right beside a museum that should not be missed.
Nothing, all was good.

What a gem! This classic hotel exudes old-school charm and was perfect for my family's stay. The staff were fantastic, the pool was wonderful, and the spacious room was a treat. The playground and zipline kept the kids entertained, and the location was scenic and convenient for exploring Telemark. Being able to bring our dog to the room and walk them through the side exit was a great bonus. The breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed the use of the free tea/coffee facilities. We hope to return one day!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The location was perfect, just off the main road but away from any traffic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was not just good, it was mind-blowing, with a fabulous selection of food including delicious baked salmon. The facilities were top-notch, especially the swimming pool and sauna, which were a true gift from heaven after a chilly day. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big and comfy bed. It was also great that they provided special dishes like pancakes and berries with honey melon fruit plate. Plus, they went the extra mile and provided ice water when we requested it at night. The atmosphere was so calming, it was the most relaxed we had been in a long time. There were also plenty of amenities and attractions within the hotel, like the mini golf and tennis courts. And let's not forget the little curiosities and photos that added a nice touch. We also loved that it was right next to a museum that shouldn't be missed. we highly recommend this hotel for a jaw-dropping and super satisfying stay.

Lovely pool and friendly staff! The breakfast spread had plenty of options and the cleaning staff was always helpful. The gym was small but adequate and the location was convenient with easy access to the city center and major highways.
The dinner menu was somewhat limited and could benefit from more variety. the rooms felt a bit cramped with just enough space for two people and their luggage.

We had a pleasant stay at a peaceful hotel near a pond with beavers and right next to a museum. the room was clean and spacious with a nice bathroom and good beds. the breakfast had a nice selection of local items, and the staff was friendly, welcoming our dog. the sports facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym, were adequate for our needs.
The hotel's ventilation system needs improvement, and it could be hard for people with allergies.
